Dr. Hunley is a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno in clinical psychology and completed his APA-accredited clinical internship at the Boise VA Medical Center. He has experience treating various mental health challenges, including PTSD, depression, generalized anxiety, social anxiety, substance use, anger, and chronic pain, as well as conducting comprehensive psychological assessments.
Dr. Hunley has training and experience with a broad range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), exposure-based therapies, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He has unique experience working with people who have experienced sexual assault, military combat, and people who have worked in first responder roles. He is dedicated to helping people gain a clearer understanding of their difficulties by integrating thorough assessment, accurate diagnosis, and individualized treatment planning, especially when symptoms are complex or difficult to explain.
Outside of work, Dr. Hunley enjoys spending time with family, reading, exploring the mountains, and playing and watching sports with friends.
